Hilton Study Says Americans are Longing to Travel Again

A recent study conducted by Hilton revealed that 94% of Americans surveyed are longing to hit the road again and go back to collecting travel memories.

What is astounding is that the percentage actually represents 188 million Americans, all of whom ranked “Travel” at the top in their list of main sources of “happy memories.” Consistently, majority of the respondents to the Hilton survey indicated that the greatest motivating factor that makes them want to travel is in having opportunities to collect more long-lasting happy memories, especially with loved ones.

In ranking their favorites, 54% indicated that they value travel memories more than they value their favorite jewelry, while 53% chose travel memories as having more value than their smartphone.

The Hilton study also revealed what most hospitality and travel agents would like to know: 94% of the respondents are planning to take a trip as soon as travel restrictions and social restrictions have been lifted. Awesome even is that 66% are already drawing up travel plans and bucket list trips, while 66% avow they will no longer put off whatever travel plans they make for their dream vacation.

In finding out that the majority of American consumers are quite enthusiastic over the prospects of being able to reconnect with the people and places they hold dear, Hilton’s Executive Vice President Danny Hughes, gave assurances to future guests. Hilton hotels are quite ready to welcome guests with only the best in hospitality services, in a clean and flexible environment, any time they are ready to travel and make new memories again.

Hilton Study Also Reveals Travel Outlook Among Most Americans

The comprehensive Hilton consumer study about travel also revealed that more than one-third (⅓) of Americans have plans to embark on more journeys than what they had in prior years.

Once travel restrictions are out of the way, 62% expressed eagerness to travel more adventurously by going to places they have not visited before. While destination is a key factor for future travel plans, around 63% of those who are making travel preparations are doing so because they want to create and share more happy memories with their loved ones. Another interesting revelation is that 57% of those who are making travel plans believe that it is important to consider the people who will be coming along in order to make a journey truly memorable.

An Important Tip in Saving Up for Future Travel Plans

While drawing up travel plans for the future is an exciting task, the harsh reality is that many American consumers also have to embark on a money-saving plan to make their dream vacations come true. We at YouReviewIt dot com can help by offering comprehensive information about YouReviewIt Surveys, Discount Coupons, Rebates and Rewards Programs.

When registering online for any of the rewards and rebates programs found in our site, successful registrants will be able to rack up points that can earn them entitlements to rewards or rebates, which they can claim through an appropriate Rewards ID number. One might think that rewards or rebate points when buying fuel, or when grabbing a quick snack, or even picking a few items you need from a convenience store are minimal. Yet they can still add up as great money saving options.

It’s all a matter of perspective when taking serious actions to cut down on some of the expenses that’s been eating up a portion of one’s household budget. As an aside to making plans for future travel, make it a point to set aside money spared from earning rewards or rebate. That way, saving up money for a future travel plan will have very little effect on one’s monthly budget. Mainly because instead of spending those minimal amounts of cash, one was able to get them free or were discounted on regular purchases. .
